$55 Wedding Reception Special at Myth Banquets
Myth wedding receptions at the golf course are amazing. Wedding reception guest have views nothing short of spectacular inside the clubhouse and out. A Myth wedding reception is affordable, but can be as extravagant as you want it to be. The Oakland County Myth banquet room has rustic, barn-like ceilings that will amaze your family. The Myth capacity is 100 to 225 guests.
Start with the base package $55 wedding special and then add your desired upgrades. Our house chef will fulfill your catered expectations and those around you. Butler served appetizers are also an option and are available during this time with cocktail hour.
The Myth Wedding Hall lets you customize your menu and leaves you the choice to upgrade at a later date when you know what your real numbers are. Knowing the count of wedding guests in advance that are coming to the party can be a challenge.
Myth Wedding hall starts you with the $55 special buffet that includes (2) Main Dishes, (1) Pasta Dish, (1) Potato, (1) Vegetable, (1) Salad, rolls, and a (5.5) hour beer, wine, and mixed drink bar. After that, you can add other options such as an appetizer, a family style or plated package upgrade, or any other options you desire as late as two weeks prior to the wedding reception.
The other “popular upgrade” decisions will be put on your quote, but wedding terms are done based only on the required $55 special minimums. Saturday wedding receptions require a minimum of 150 adult guests. Friday & Sunday weddings require an adult minimum count of 100 guests. Tax, 18% service charge and a $900 room fee are additional. All wedding receptions end at 11:30 p.m. to allow 30 minutes for vendors to remove decorations and equipment.

The Bar includes a variety of sodas, coffee & juices. Beer: Labatt’s, Bud Light & Miller Light. Wines:
Chardonnay, White Zinfandel, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, & Cabernet Sauvignon (Moscato is available for a $100 additional charge) Well Brand Liquors: Vodka, Gin, Rum, Spiced Rum, Whiskey, Bourbon, Scotch,Tequila, & Assorted Schnapps. Craft Beer and Liquor upgrade options are available.
Room Rental at The Myth
Banquet hall room rental of $900 includes all necessary tables and chairs, white linen napkins and tablecloths, white table skirting, china table settings, flatware, glassware, dance floor, use of the outdoor patio, exclusive use of our private bridal suite, as well as all necessary set up and clean up of the banquet room. All room rentals require food & bar service. The Myth provides all food and beverages. Outside caterers & outside beverages are not permitted at the Myth with exception of wedding cake only or wedding cupcakes.
Our banquet room fees are based on 5.5 hours of use until 11:30 p.m. Formal events are required to rent a Chiavari chair for an extra expense. The Gold is $5, while other colors are $7.
